Spring Fun!

Here's just a few of the things we've been up to while springing into spring!
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
I know it appears that Kyle and Daddy are working out in the rain and thick mud here.
(And maybe not having fun.)
But just for the record, Papa Bob and Meemom, it is just a figment of your imagination,
as it really doesn't rain that much here in the springtime! ;-)

But it was all worth it . . .
We found this playset on CL, and Daddy found the perfect spot for it!!!
The kids are lovin' it!!!
And then,
Daddy put up a trampoline . . . for exercise! ;-)
Lydia came over for some fun, coloring 90 spring eggs!
(Timmy and Joe just love having Lydia over to do this with them each year!)

 We've almost eaten them all!
We just did this spring egg hunt this past Thursday
on a day when the temperature was 85+ degrees!
See, Papa Bob and Meemom,
we DO get warmth and sun here in the spring!!!! : -)

 Have Corgi . . . will travel!
Well . . . and few goats along, too!
(Transporting four goats to three new owners!)
Taking a trip to sunny CA really helps Daddy's cabin/office fever about now!
We had an unbelievable experience yesterday!
We had only been traveling for about 8 hours on I-5, when POP . . . .
one of our fairly new tires blew up!
But God was with us!
We were going uphill in the right lane, and were able to quickly pull over into the wide, trucker's slow lane/shoulder.  We landed in the shade, and Kyle and Daddy were able to change the tire within about 30 minutes! But that's not all!  Just before getting back into the truck, Kyle noticed that the other new tire on the other side was getting ready to blow too!

We were very, very blessed to find a Les Schwab within a half and hour or so!  When they took off the second tire, and saw the inner side of it, they couldn't believe that we had made it in before it blew, too! (In all of our 11.5 years of traveling all over the country with our truck/camper we've never even had a flat tire! So something was really wrong with these 16 month-old tires!)
Thank you, Lord, for all of your protection and provisions!!!!
Thanks also to our very wonderful house/farm sitter!
We are sooooo grateful for all your help so we can get away for a few days! : -)

The swing set looks like a great buy. So glad you all did not have any serious problem with the flat tires. That is always a little scary when you are on the road. Hope the rest of your trip is uneventful in so far as vehicle problems. Love, Meemom

Yes I am sure the mud is just another figment of our imagination. lol
