His Song Will Be With Me . . .

The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime;
And His song will be with me in the night,
A prayer to the God of my life.
Psalm 42:8

This verse was especially meaningful to me this morning!  So thankful for how the Lord loves us and comforts us in the daytime, and then even through the darkness of night!!!

We've had a string of sleepless nights around here these past two weeks, and so we have had lots of opportunities to experience "His song" with us in the night.   It truly has been so comforting!

Nine out of ten of us are almost fully recovered from this bad flu.  We thought Ted had escaped it, but unfortunately, it caught him on its way out . . . just today.  We sure would be grateful for your prayers for him, as this is his busiest time of the year at work.

Just yesterday, in a little window of "healthy" family time,  before we knew Ted was coming down with the sickness, we had a quick visit by Aunt Kelley before helping her load her U-Haul truck. We decided this might be the perfect opportunity to have a re-try at a family Christmas picture!!  (We had tried around Christmastime, but with the self-timer, they didn't turn out so good with low lighting.) So, with our Christmas tree still up, we all dressed in Christmas colors once again and huddled together for Aunt Kelley to snap this picture! : -)

Then, we took
an older
foursome photo
and a younger foursome photo!

Thank you so much for sharing!!! Sure hope Ted can feel better real soon. Aunt Kelley had to call in sick today too as she has been very sick ever since Sunday upon her return home. So guess she needs to be on our prayer list also. love you all, Meemom
