Feeling so thankful for all the good things the Lord has blessed us with right now . . .
~ beautiful blue skies, summer sun and warmth
~ loving parents/grandparents here for a visit
~ fun sister/aunt and nieces/cousins living nearby that brighten every day
~enjoyable Richie and Lydia that bless us regularly with the joy of their presence in every season
~the joy of being able to live in and enjoy God's amazing creation all around us!!!

 ~~~~~~~~~
And a special thanks to Papa Bob and Meemom for all the fun we've had with you on your boat!
Such super fun and special moments and memories made together!
"I see land, captain!"
A couple of us sure enjoy capturing these special moments with our cameras!
A boatload of fun!!!
Reading!
Resting!
  Enjoying three generations gathered together.
 Swimming!
 Can't go on a boat ride without Oreos!!! ;-)
 Aunt Kelley and Benny shared lots of time together while she fished.
He is crazy about his aunt!
And such a very patient and loving Aunt she is!!
 Benny enjoyed playing with the worms. ; -)
 Joe was the only one to catch a nice little trout!
 The two "V's" that some people get most confused telling apart.
Do you think they look like twins?
 The nearly 18 year-old quads.
 What's this flying through the air????
Nappy time!
 Back on land for a BBQ!
Lydia was sharing about her experience of getting stung on Tuesday by one of their honey bees.
Her left calf is VERY swollen!!!
Sweet!!!
Back on the boat for another little cruise!
  Thanks everyone for such a fun day!!!!
Our Little Town's Blueberry Festival!
It's that time of year again,
when we enjoy going to our little town's Blueberry Festival.
They have a parade and a vendor area where Lydia sells her soaps and other things.
Waiting for the parade to begin!
Sweet Mom and daughters! :-)
One of the favorites! ;-)
Of course, the favorite thing about the parade for the little ones (well, Daddy's too! ;-) is all the candy!!!
After the parade, we did a little shopping at Lydia's Harmony Heritage Farm booth!
Lydia's little helper! ;-)
Since it is quite a warm day today,
we didn't stay too long,
and took cover in the coolness of our house just moments away!
It's August 2014!!!
But first,
as we prepared for the Aug. 1st arrival of Papa Bob and Meemom from AZ,
we decided we should check out their pontoon boat,
and make sure it is ready for them! ; -)
 Yup!  It's workin' good!
Then, on August 1st Eve,
we had the pleasure of having some summer cabin friends
visit us with some of their good friends from where they all live in Seattle.
 We were blessed to get to know Tina and her daughter, Alexis.
Very sweet ladies!
And 16 year-old Alexis is quite the volleyball player!!
 Then, yesterday afternoon,
Papa Bob and Meemom arrived!
We enjoyed a lovely evening together on their back deck!
 Uh oh,
a few yellow jacket nests were spotted!
Papa Bob and Daddy to the rescue!
View in the sky we enjoyed for much of the evening . . .
"The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands."
Psalm 19:1
And lastly,
just for the cuteness factor . . . ;-)
Brielle giving Valerie a "thank you" kiss for fixing her hair in this adorable new style! : -)
Days 4,5,6 with Papa and Grammie!
We were very blessed to have Papa and Grammie attend church with us Sunday morning.
It's always really special for us to worship together!
Then, after church we went out for Mexican food! Yum!
Three generations of Boweses!
And going strong!
 Monday afternoon, we played a little card game together called GOLF,
that they introduced us to when we visited them in the spring in Phoenix.
(Valerie wasn't here as she was at the veterinarian's office taking care of some routine stuff with a couple of her dogs.)
 Today was a beautiful day, so we all enjoyed going to the NW Trek Wildlife Park!
Lovely Grammie with two of her lovely granddaughters.
(Unfortunately, Blackberry chose today to have her puppies, and needed Valerie's assistance! ; - )
 Such a lovely day for a stroll through the woods!
And then have a nice, restful ride on the tram that goes through the park!
 It was a little warm today, so both the bison and the female elk herd were soaking in the ponds!
Then, a little more strolling!
Grizzly bear!
 Benny Bear!
 What a fun day!
Thank you, Lord, for all these awesome creatures!
 "How many are your works, O Lord!
In wisdom you made them all;
the earth is full of your creatures."
Ps. 104:24
"I will sing to the Lord all my life;
I will sing praise to my God as long as I live."
Ps. 104:33
