A series of unfortunate events kicked off a couple weeks ago, when Lydia's new ram addition to their farm was murdered by a cougar! He was a very special ram, just the breed that she wanted. Thankfully, the dairy sheep farm that she got him from still had 2 more that she could choose from.
She was going to pick him up asap, and then her truck broke down. Since it was determined to be something that wouldn't allow for the long drive back to Whidbey Island, I offered to drive our truck.
With the 4 hour, one-way-drive to Whidbey Island, and having just done that all day drive with Baby Charlie in tow to pick up the first ram . . . and my desire for a little getaway . . . we decided that I would go solo. It was such a lovely day for a drive! I thoroughly enjoyed it! And then, to end the lovely day, our truck broke down about 2 hours from home. Ted ended up driving Tim and Joe's truck up to transfer the ram over to and so that I could continue on home with him. I arrived back home at 12:30am! Here are a few pictures from my journey!
