Last week we had the blessing of having some old long-time 😉 friends plus some brand new friends over for dinner. The long-time friends are members of our church with us (as long as we have been there which is 15 years!), but we haven't had the blessing of having them over to our home until now. We are acquainted with our new friends from the local Young Eagles program. (Dave is the pilot friend that flew Timmy from Bend, OR to Arlington, WA recently.) What was really awesome to find out is that these two couples have been friends for many, many years. (We knew that Dave and John worked together at the sheriff's dept. many years ago, but we didn't know that their friendship went back long before that!)

I was especially blessed to have Meemom, Lydia, Valerie and Caroline all pitch in to help make the meal and three amazing fruit pies for dessert! They all gathered here around 10am, and we had fun preparing all the food right up till our guests arrived at 5pm! We seriously had such a blast visiting and laughing lots while working together!
