We were so blessed to have a three day, two-night 30th anniversary get-a-way to the coast this past weekend! We stopped in Astoria for a look-see at the Columbia River. It was a beautiful afternoon!
It was a little cloudy then at the beach on Friday night.
We saw this pooch on one of our walks on the promenade. So cute!
We walked a lot up and down the beach as far as we could walk at each end!
This was our hotel . . .right on the beach!

This was taken early on Sunday morning at the opposite end of the beach from the first picture of us!
And one of the most special parts of our trip was visiting Taylor, Victoria and Luke on Sunday afternoon and evening! It was sooo nice to enjoy our adorable grandson without having to share him with all his aunts and uncles! :-)

We always enjoy the blog posts. This one brought back memories of how our long walks on the beach meant so much to us. Seems like many plans and decisions were made during these peaceful times. You both look so happy and your 30 years together have been so exciting, scary, blessed, stressful, adventuresome, loud, fun-filled, exhausting, faithful, fearful, amazing, and God honoring. (even when you did not notice) We did.
