Valerie and I left yesterday at 6am for Seattle to attend the Refresh conference!
It is a wonderful time of refreshment for foster/adoptive families!
There was a beautiful full moon lighting our way as we left!
We were especially encouraged to see 2,000+ people there!
And the worship time was amazing!
Lots of good speakers gave us lots of encouragement and good helpful information for the task that is before us!
Unfortunately, we forgot to get a picture of the two of us! But here is Valerie enjoying a little break at Chick-fil-a! I was so thankful that Valerie wanted to come along. I so enjoyed her company!

Aww! That’s so wonderful that you ladies got to attend! I’m glad that you were encouraged & blessed! :-) Its crazy but the directors of the orphanage I served at were actually at the Refresh conference too!!! Such a small world!
So glad you and Valerie were able to share the day together. Sounds like it was very inspiring.
