Fair Days!

Thursday, Lydia took Ben to our local fair as part of a special treat for his birthday! 

(So the first five pictures with Ben in them are compliments of Lydia!  Thank you, Lydia!) 

 

 Then, on the following day, we had a Mommy-and-Me day at the fair with Brielle, Tim and Joe!  

But while we were just talking about big sis, Lydia, at the fair . . . . we were sooooooo proud to see so many of her canned fruits and veggies at the fair.  She must of had about 20 jars of various things entered there!!!  In the background to the left of Brielle's head, are her prize winning cherries! 

 These jars are just a small sampling of all that she entered!  

Great work, Lydia!!! 

 This was probably Brielle's favorite thing at the fair!  

She LOVES fishing!

Visiting Friends and Family in Michigan!

Valerie, Timothy and I were very blessed to be able to make a trip to Michigan to visit family and friends this past weekend! 

First stop, coffee on our way to the airport at 5am!!!

We arrived extra early to the airport on Friday morning!

So what are we to do but take lots of selfies! :-)

 Timmy was especially excited to fly!!!! 

 We flew out of the SeaTac airport

 We were blessed to visit with Aunt Kathy, and cousins Jeff and Lori on Friday night. 

Aunt Kathy blessed us with an awesome big breakfast Saturday morning! 

 Then, off to our friends' wedding! 

The reception was fantastic! 

Here Timmy is thoroughly enjoying shrimp appetizers!

 There was this park just down the street from our hotel!  

The name Crossroads (here with a K!) has a special meaning to our family, so it was really neat to see this at our home away from home! 

 I thoroughly enjoyed watching the sun rise each morning! 

 Out for coffee with our friend John before church on Sunday morning! 

After church, we had a delightful lunch with the Reynolds family! 

 And then a little tour of the area around Saginaw! 

 Then, on Monday, before flying home, we enjoyed going to the Bronner's Christmas store! 

It was awesome!!!! 

 And lunch at Zehnder's!
