We have been passing around a little respiratorybug/head cold for the last few weeks. Seems like one or two of us has had this bug at a time, and then it gets passed to another one or two of us. ;-)
Nothing bad, just the annoying tiredness, cough, and sniffles.
Today was Charlotte's turn. She was wanting to sleep most of the day, and the rest of us were antsy to get outside on this very lovely evening. And we felt like this day was probably the last chance to get up to this mountiantop vista before the snow makes it impassible. Tim and Joe enjoy this view often with friends through the summertime and we've heard so much about it and have seen so many of their beautiful pictures. So we decided on this perfectly clear evening, that we should take advantage of this nearby, glorious view!
So we loaded Charlotte up with lots of snacks and drinks and her favorite VHS moview, and the rest of us loaded up in Tim and Joe's truck for our quick, but very therapuetic outing!
This picture was taken with Tim's drone!
You can see 3 snowcapped mountains! This is Mt. Ranier!
Mt. St. Helens!
