Merry Marilyn Sleep Over and More!

Last week, we enjoyed a couple different visits with Marilyn.

The first was a sleepover on Monday night, so Lydia could travel with Valerie down to Portland early Tuesday morning for an appointment for their foster son. 

When Marilyn sleeps over, she likes to have her uncles build an epic fort, and then we must watch "Fox and the Hound" and sleep in the fort! 

This was Marilyn first thing in the morning. ....still waking up!

There was still a fairly deep patch of snow in the back, so Ben, Marilyn and I tried to make some snow people . . . and a snow dog. :-) 

The pictures below with the lambs were taken on Thursday, when Lydia came over to kid-watch for me while I took Rosie to the vet for her OFA xrays! One of the lambs had just been born about an hour earlier! 

I came home to this . . . . . :-)

Big Snow in February 2021

This first picture was taken last night.  

Car parked right out front our house. 

It's been hard to tell how much accumulated over the past four days since it was so windy for much of that time and the drifts accumulated so high. 

But this is what things looked like on this Valentine's Day when the snow started slowing down and it has warmed up past 32 degrees.
