Meemom in May!

 We are so blessed to have a special visit from Meemom this first part of May!  Usually she comes out with PapaBob in July, but we asked to see if she could come out this year for Mother's Day and Valerie's baby shower.  We didn't have to do too much convincing.  She arrived on Thursday, May 6th, so she's already been here about a week!  It has been quite the whirlwind of activity and visitors since she landed here!  

After I picked her up on Thursday morning, we stopped at Costco and Walmart for groceries and then headed for home . . .arriving in the early afternoon.  That evening she had a nice visit with Caroline while Ted and Tim and Joe were away for the evening. 

Friday, we made a second trip to Costco to get some food for our Mother's Day meal.  And then Lydia came over to make homemade pizzas!  

Then, Richie came over and we all enjoyed an amazing Friday night, pizza night together! 

On Saturday morning, the Smith family arrived and Aunt Kelley and McKenna and Cassidy also arrived . . all about the same time!  We had a very fun, full day visiting with them! 

We fixed "street tacos" for dinner!  Some beef and some chicken! 

Sunday morning we went to church and our family filled in for the worship team that was out with covid. I had an enjoyable visit at Meemom's house with Meemom, Aunt Kelley and McKenna and Cassidy while the family finished up with the 2nd service worship. Then the Carter family came over for the rest of the day, and the Tevises also came back over for the evening!  We had a big ham dinner! 

On Monday, we were blessed to be able to watch Naomi and River for the afternoon and evening while John and Valerie drove to Longview to sign their re-fi papers!  They brought us back this HUGE cinnamon roll! 

And then, Caroline's special friend, Joseph, came for a visit yesterday, Tuesday!  (The pictures are loading in the wrong order . . . the last is first, and the first is last! We didn't actually eat smores before our street taco dinner! LOL!) 

They played volleyball and kickball! (I guess I didn't get any pictures of their volleyball games!)
