Christmas Eve Breakfast . . . homemade almond poppyseed bread, monkey bread and ham, bacon and shredded hash brown casserole!
Lydia and Marilyn blessed our day immensely when they came over early to join us for breakfast! Joe was showing Lydia how he does "burpies" with Brielle on his back. (That's an 84 pd. back pack!)
The kids decided to open their one Christmas Eve present in the morning, rather than waiting until after the Christmas Eve church service in the evening!
Marilyn, being a GRANDchild, got a little extra spoiling! :-)
These little presents were given to them by a special friend of Caroline's! ;-)
Kyle and LeAnna called for a group chat with us (with Lydia also at our house); the Smith's; and the Carter's. (So 4 homes and 5 families represented!) All on Caroline's cell phone!
John and Valerie came over mid-day and we had fun preparing lots of yummy things to eat!
And Richie was also able to join us for the afternoon!
We kept with our tradition of tacos for dinner!
And then we did a short dress rehearsal for a small part we had in the Christmas Eve service at church. This picture was taken at the church! There are always lovely poinsettias decorating the sancturary!
