The Day We've Been Waiting For is Here!!!

Almost exactly one year and 8 months ago,

we got a call that said a baby sister was born.

Would we take her?

We jumped for joy,

cried happy tears,

then said . . .

 . . . . we'll be right there!

She was given the name "Marvelous."

So, we read Psalm 118:23-24 on the way to get her,

and now it is very special to us!

 She was so tiny!

It has been a delight to watch her grow and thrive every day!!

God is so good!!

 

 

But one thing we've longed for these 20 months is her official adoption into our family!

And TODAY is that day!

We're heading to Seattle now to appear before a judge.

Very soon her name will be officially changed and she will be "Brielle Jubilee Bowes!"

"Brielle" is short for Gabrielle, meaning "God is my strength."

"Jubilee" - is just how we feel about her!!!!

(She and Benjamin will have the same initials!)

Thank you, Lord!!!

And thanks to all our family and friends who love her so much too,

and who have prayed for us these 20 months!
