Day Thirteen - Philidelphia

Yesterday, we left Secaucus, NJ around 9am and drove to Philadelphia!   This put us into Philadelphia around noon.    Ted found a Walmart that is within walking distance to the historic part of town, so we ate our lunch and headed out on foot toward Independence Hall.

But sadly, we could not get in to see the inside of Independence Hall.

So, we went to see the Liberty Bell!

Sooooo awesome!!

 

Then, we headed for their very large information center. 

We hit the souvenir shop and watched a couple films

about what it was like to live back in this period of time.

 

 

We enjoyed these markers they had strewn about our walking tour of the city.

 

 I was fascinated with the cobblestone roads all throughout the town!

Ended the day with an official Philly Cheese Steak!
