These pandemic days have been strange for sure.
The stay at home orders have not changed a lot for us,
but at the same time, being "forced" to stay home HAS changed a lot for us.
I think everyone in our family has handled the stay-at-home orders differently.
For Ted, who has always worked from a home office,
it has been hard for him to not be able to get away from his work like he likes to do.
He is much more of an adventure seeker,
and has a greater need to be "on-the-go" outside of the house.
He is not one to sit still either, (and since he sits at his computer all day for work) he is always looking for ways to be busy interacting and playing with the kids. So, his "coping" with staying home has morphed into many big projects that involve creating a better place for family gatherings in the future.
A few posts ago, I posted about the in-ground trampoline project. That was the first big project. Then . . .he moved on to clearing a spot for a concrete sport court.
And this also involved re-doing the playground wood-chips and building the little fence.
We are also getting our logs restored currently, so we'll probably have a little extra cabin fever while our windows are covered!!!
Joe has not coped very well with the no-fishing orders.
But TODAY is the first day that fishing is allowed again!
So he was up at 5am and hit the pond before sun-up!
Last night, we took a drive up to Richie and Lydia's new property.
Richie was there and so he gave us a tour of all that work they have been doing up there!
Look at that view!!!
The kids sure enjoyed their animals!
We just saw this guy on our lower acreage last night!

Ted sure has been ambitious with all he has done to the property. Will the sports court be for
basketball & volleyball? Sure is some nice scenery!
