Moving Day for John and Valerie!!!

John and Valerie purchased Mr. Jerke's house on 3 acres! 

And Mr. Jerke decided to move into the apartment that John and Valerie had been renting from the Petersohn's.  So yesterday was the big moving day to swap housing for all of them!  

They had lots of helping hands . . . neighbors, friends and family! 

(Not pictured below is John and Valerie :-), who were still back at the apartment loading things and having their move-out-walk-through with the Petersohn's; and then, Lydia . . .who came to the house just after these moving-crew pictures were taken!  

Lydia helped unload lots of full vehicles and cleaned the new house with Valerie and I!

Lydia was a double blessing to Valerie and John in helping deep clean their apartment on Friday too! (And I got to have Marilyn for the day! :-) This was all such a huge help during a very busy time for John and Valerie. And also not pictured, working behind the scenes was Caroline, who stayed home with the four youngins so that I could be free to help out however I could all day on Saturday.  Some awesome teamwork going on to make this move go smoothly!!) 

I had hoped to get a photo of John and Valerie when they arrived at the house, but we all got soooo busy and buried in boxes, that I got quite side-tracked from taking pictures! :-) 

 

 They made quick work of all the swapping of household goods from house to apartment, and apartment to house! :-) 

 So thankful for these good friends, neighbors and family that were so cheerful and willing to lend a helping hand in Mr. Jerke's and John and Valerie's time of need!  And thanks to John and Valerie for feeding us all some amazing pizza and salads for lunch!
