So much fun to be had at family camp!
What a blessing it is in so many ways!
There is a pond to swim and paddle in!
There is round-the-clock volleyball to play!
And grandbabies to love on! :-)
And nephews for Aunties to love on! :-)
Another of Luke's aunties!
Our dear friends, the Johnson's, were able to come to camp this year! Woo hoo!
There are fun games like the one below to play!
This one is called "carpet ball" and uses pool table balls.
And there is the very popular zip line!
And really wonderfully encouraging Biblical messages from Mr. Silva!
In the photo below he asked for all the kids 10 and under to come froward for an up close look at a little object lesson. That was a lot of kids!!
Lots more volleyball!
And then there is the "slip-n-slide" or bust! Or we could just call it the slip-n-slide AND bust, as it is a little scary at the pile-up down at the end!!! ;-)
This year they introduced an art time with painting rocks and pictures on canvas.
Some camp buddies . ..
And more volleyball. . .
Lots of good food and serving going on . . .
Trampolining!
Three big meals a day were prepared by teams of volunteers!
On Sunday morning, there is the 5K! Benjamin was the chosen one to represent the Bowes family this year! :-)
Early Sunday morning, Tim had to leave for his aviation camp up in Arlington, WA. We were so blessed that a friend offered to fly him up there for us! We just had to get him to the airstrip only about 25 minutes away from where we were camping! :-) This saved us a nine hour drive!!!
Tim actually did the take-off!
This is what the tent full of campers looked like for the worship and teaching times!
And lastly, is a big dance on Sunday night!
