About 2am yesterday, (Friday morning), our first taste of Michigan arrived . . .

Ben made this picture for John and taped it to the front door with a note on the envelope that said,
"For John and Valerie: Go ahead and open this when you come in. I will be sleeping!" :-)

In the early afternoon, four of us went to have a "linner" at Burger Claim!
This morning, (Saturday), we woke to a little taste of what John experiences in Michigan regularly . . .
These two fixed an amazing Saturday morning breakfast!
Meanwhile, Ted worked on clearing our road!

All is well in the world. . .all snuggly warm watching Pooh Bear!

Then, they set out on a journey to run some errands!
Then, later this evening, Daddy and I are heading out to pick up these guys from their 9 days visiting sweet LeAnna in snowy Minnesota!
