Feeling very sad today as we lay our beloved Aussie, Anna, to rest.
She has been happily by our sides for 11 years. She came to us when she was 2 1/2 from a family that needed a new family for her before their move to California.
The photo below was taken a month or so after we welcomed her into our family.
So Joe was about 8 months old and Timmy was 2 1/2 when we got her.
Anna has been a faithful indoor companion to us all,
and she has welcomed many new kids since coming to our family in July of 2007.
She was such a sweet, happy little dog.
We are sure going to miss her. 😭

Yes, she sure has a special place in all our hearts from all the years she was with us! She sure did have a good long, happy, (spoiled) life! Missing her greatly! :-(
I'm going to miss that good ole ROUS. She was such a steady, unassuming presence in our house. All she needed was a bit of food, the opportunity to roam for crumbs, and something soft to rest her little body on to be happy. She was always there when you needed a buddy, (especially if you had food) and I too feel the hole she has left. Somehow the little Aussie who refused to fetch and grunted every time you petted her has left some big shoes for our next pet to fill, but I am sure a new, great pet will come along soon!
Sorry to hear this. She certainly had a good disposition. I know you are all going to miss her.
