I’ve been traveling for about five weeks so I’m way behind on your blog, but just found this post. So cute! You really captured the progression of Marilyn’s emotions about the cake, starting with confusion, to tentatively checking it out, to carefully tasting, to enthusiastically eating, to throwing caution to the wind and diving headfirst into it! I’m surprised she didn’t have it in her eyes and hair, with how much she was into it. Love Lydia’s quick dodge of a smear of frosting across her face. Way to move, Lydia! Thanks for sharing the cute pictures, and happy birthday, Marilyn!!
