We've had four admission tickets to the Woodland Park Zoo since the homeschool conference back in April! (We won them in the silent auction there!) Now that the busy summer is over, we decided to go today, and it was a perfect autumn day to go!
So, Daddy, myself and the four youngins' went and had a blast! It was such a nice day, and the animals were all out and very visible!
Taking school to the zoo!
They did learn a lot . . .especially about God's amazing creation!!!
Here's a sampling of some of the awesome animals that we saw!
Job 12:7-10
"But ask the animals, and they will teach you,
or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you;
or speak to the earth, and it will teach you,
or let the fish in the sea inform you.
Which of all these does not know
that the hand of the Lord has done this?
In his hand is the life of every creature
and the breath of all mankind."
Oh wait! First things first!!! we HAD to get cotton candy at the entrance gate for our journey through the zoo!!!
AWWWW . . .this momma kangaroo (and her baby in her pouch :-) were sleeping.
These grizzly bears were my favorite!
The one lying on the rock was just a few feet in front of the viewing window!!!
And the other one was walking around in plain site the whole time too!
So awesome!
Thank you Lord, for your amazing creations!
Each one is so unique and awesome!
Psalm 92:4
"For You, O Lord, have made me glad
by what You have done,
I will sing for joy at the works of Your hands."
I will sing for joy at the works of Your hands."
