After leaving Mt. Rushmore,
we decided that we we should be good tourists
and stop at Wall Drug in Wall, South Dakota!

Benjamin really wanted to bring his cowboy hat from home,
but somehow, we left without it. ; -)
So, at Mt. Rushmore, he saw a ranger that was wearing what looked like a cowboy hat. He started talking about it, and Victoria told him to go talk to the man. So, he was headed his way, when Victoria realized that Benjamin was thinking that he should ask the man for his hat. He was saying "Have it, have it."
So, we decided it might be a good idea to
buy him one at Wall Drug! And he is a very happy tourist now!

Of course, Benjamin needed a hat! So glad he got one. I just read a book that had a chapter that took place at Wall Drug. I've got to make that one of my stops someday.
Glad to hear the ranger did not lose his hat. Someone said Benjamin might be spoiled and I said " no, not Benjamin!" At any rate, he is awfully cute in his new hat.
Can hardly wait for the next update. I get to see the country without even spending money on the gas!!!Love, Meemom
