On Wednesday Evening (Mid-week of our time in Colorado), Victoria and the boys came up with a couple goats to deliver them up to the fairgrounds in Puyallup for the goat show at the State Fair.
(The show wasn't until Saturday-Sunday, but the goats needed to be hauled in early Thursday morning.)
Ben went with Victoria on Saturday morning to help show the goats!
Saturday morning after our Friday evening return home, Joe planned a fishing tournament with a few guys. Dad won the tournament!Back to the goat show happening simultaneously on Saturday morning . . . . while the guys were fishing.
The next picture was from Friday morning, while we were traveling home from Colorado. Victoria took all the kids for the hike up the hill to the DeGoede's cross.
Back to the goat show on Saturday morning . . .
The next few pictures were from the day before we flew out to Colorado. Our neighbor needed help moving his shed down the hill! Thankfully, Richie was here!
And Lydia came to my rescue with using up a bunch of plums from a tree in Caroline and Joseph's back yard. Caroline had brought these plums a week or two before we left, and I just really needed to get them made into jam. Don't know what I would have done without all of Meemom and Lydia's help and all of Lydia's equipment! Thank you soooooo much!
The next few pictures were from the afternoon/evening of our return home. Meemom and PapaBob hosted us for goulash and an amazing lemon pound cake! We had such a good time sitting around their little fire on their deck!
Best way to wake up! Grandsons at the breakfast table!
Just took these pictures this Sunday morning. Train is from Auntie Lydia! They are lovin it!
