Most special newly born guest . . .a lamb just an hour old that Lydia and Marilyn brought!
(We hoped to have the Johnson ladies, but due to snowy road conditions, they decided they should probably not chance getting stuck out in the inclement weather!)
We painted rocks for a little craft, and potential Valentine's Day gifts! :-)
Caroline had hoped to make the party after work, but she was a little late, due to not being able to drive up our hill. She had to park at the bottom and walk all the way up in her work shoes!
I sure had fun taking pictures of our surprise guest! :-)
We were sooooo blessed to have Victoria, Luke and Caleb join us. She was able to drive down Wednesday night to beat the snow. Then, Taylor's work was closed on Friday, so he was able to make the drive up to join us for Friday-Saturday.
So the Johnson ladies did make the drive all the way out to the bottom of our hill but couldn't make it up the first part of the hill. They also realized that if they stayed a couple hours, they might not be able to make the drive all the way back to their house, about 40 minutes away. So Ted was able to run down to their car and pick up their presents for Brielle, and we sent a bunch of the treats we would have enjoyed together if they could have stayed. :-)
Since the Johnson ladies were unable to attend, we decided to go ahead and let the guys join us!
Loved seeibg all the Birthday pictures. The decorations are beautiful. Hope Brielle
ReplyDeletehad a great time even though some guests were not able to get there.
