Special Day for a Special Girl . . . . and for Her 3 Wombmates!

Being the loving mom that I am ;-), I purchased the hot pink "Birthday Girl" sash complete with flashing lights for Caroline to wear to work on her birthday!  A photo with her wearing her sash with her co-workers was her ticket to getting to open her presents back at home!  :-) 

I also had fun on a little early morning outing . . . surprising her upon her arrival to her office door  . . . with some beautiful roses, a fun balloon, and some sweet candy . . .beautiful, sweet and fun . . .

just like Caroline!  

(Yes, Meemom, you also participated in the surprise with your perfect little patio table!)

Back at home before she left for work, we made her homemade waffles with fresh strawberry topping!  

And for dinner, we made orange chicken with rice, and for dessert, her favorite chocolate pecan pie! 

Then, after dinner and gift opening, we played Ticket to Ride with Kyle in Colorado! :-) 

And then, John and Valerie came back over to pick up their little bundle of joy that Grandma had the pleasure of watching for Valerie's special birthday outing!
