. . . . have made this Grandma very sad,
and also our young ones who don't understand this time of separation
and why we can't see each other. 😥
and why we can't see each other. 😥
We have all been faithful to abide by the emergency orders of staying home during the Coronavirus pandemic. For us, this hasn't looked much different from our already mostly-at-home lifestyle. We've always homeschooled the kids, and Ted already works from a home office.
We don't really even go to town all that often.
The one big thing for us has been not being able to go to church!

But the things we have missed the most are the precious souls in our lives . . .
the people that bring us such joy.
Namely our kids and grandkids and friends.
(And would be great-grandparents as well if we lived in the same state currently.)
We are all getting weary of being apart. . .especially since we are blessed to live in a county that fortunately hasn't been affected by the virus much.
And WA and OR were two of the states that locked down first.

So we decided in order to keep morale up among the natives here . . . .
and to keep Grandma's heart from breaking . . .
and refresh the stamina and nerves of the mommies who need a little respite from the wee ones.....
and to let a certain young man go fishing . . .
(who is going crazy not being able to fish during the springtime that he has waited for all winter long)

and quite possibly to save our sanity . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
we could bend the rules ever-so slightly!
Actually, I think these very small-gatherings/visits were deemed "essential" in caring for the
emotionally fragile among us, and in keeping our state-of-minds stable. 😊
Oh what JOY this brought to my heart!
Then the essential business down south . . .
And a good time was had by all. So nice to see pictures of Robyn which we normally don't see.
ReplyDeleteThe two little buys are both adorable!
