So Proud of Our "Little General"!!!

Yesterday was Caroline's big debut at the Possibilities annual fundraiser,
as their new Development Director!
She shared her quadruplet testimony and then gave a stirring plea for financial support for their next year of serving women and children!
Another wonderful testimony of the value of LIFE at its earliest age and stage right here. . .

A Very Big Day . . .

. . . in more than one way! 😉

For starters, it was a big day for Brielle and I, in that is was a super looooooong day!
We left the house at 6am and returned home at 9pm!

We are so excited and thankful to begin Brielle's treatment for Hep. C at
Seattle Children's Hospital!
We got the call recently that she was chosen for a clinical trial for the new medication that is proving to be waaaaaay better in every way than the traditional, old medicine!
She will be extra monitored through the process as they gather information on how her body is metabolizing the medicine.  Yesterday was the initial screening day, and then after the results are in, we will go back to officially begin taking the medicine and begin the monitoring process!
Studies are proving this medicine to be way faster, easier, more effective, and all with much less side effects!  Praise the Lord!
She had to have a LOT of blood drawn! :-(
As soon as we finished with Brielle's screening in Seattle, we got word on our phone that Timmy had been given an okay to take his first (free) one-hour flight lesson in the afternoon through the Young Eagles program.
So Brielle and I rushed down from Seattle to Chehalis just in time to watch Timmy jump in the pilot's seat and take the yoke and actually do the take off!  So cool!

Welcome Fall and Busy Birthday Season!

Saturday was the official first day of full, AND kick-off to our busy birthday celebration season!
Kyle hosted his annual volleyball birthday bash at a nearby park!
He was blessed by these good friends and family that were able to come out to play with him!
So, since it was Kyle's birthday party, I just got photos of a few of his action shots! :-)

After lots of volleyball, we had a barbecue!
And enjoyed these amazing cakes made by his good friend, Abe!
What a special blessing and treat!
Thank you, Abe!

 Happy (Early) Birthday, Kyle!
We all thank God for you and love you so much!
Oh, and of course, I must post these pictures of our adorable grand-daughter!
We were blessed to have her with us for the day!  😊💞

Enjoying Special Family Time!

Last night was Papa and Grammy's last night here in WA.
We were especially blessed to have Richie, Lydia and Marilyn join us!
We had such a special time visiting outside on a lovely last-of-summer evening.
We barbecued and had a campfire and enjoyed being entertained by one little glow stick man!

Four generational mom, daughter, grand and great picture!
Oh, this little grand-daughter!! Just can't get enough of her!
She is soooooo, sooooooo, adorable!
What a super special blessing she is in my life!

Camping in Long Beach with Papa and Grammy!

Papa and Grammy stayed in the little cabin in the background.
We made a pretty big group walking down to the beach from the campground!

Papa getting ready to catch the frisbee!

What's a brother to do when photos are being taken of his sisters!

Ha!  Doesn't everyone wear boots and carry purses on the beach? ;-)

We ended up having RV neighbors that we know from our church!
They offered to take this group picture of us so both Ted and I could be in it!  :-)

From Valerie's phone . . . .

 Awww, such good friends!
