Aunt Shawn's Visit Part 3 and Canning with Lydia!!!

Aunt Shawn was hoping for an opportunity to do some canning while she was here.

And we knew right where to take her!!!! 

But first, a visit to see the animals!! 

Now down to business!  First up!  Strawberry-rhubarb jam in the making here! 

 Just a wee bit of sugar!!! :-)

 Moving on to green salsa! 

 Kyle and Timmy stopped by . . . . coincidence that is was around lunchtime??? ;) 

The finished fruits of our labors . . . about 40 pint jars of jam, a bunch of green salsa and even a few pints of green beans!!
