New Year's Eve 2017

This is what happens when Arizonans host a New Year's Eve party at their house while spending the holiday season in Washington  . . . 

 Too bad the Cardinals won!!!  :-( 

Timmy is still looking hopeful, enjoying his bottle of root beer as the game got underway  . . . 

 I've been wanting to snap this picture for many, many years, and finally got one! 

Meemom gave me this jacket probably close to 30 years ago.  I love it and wear it often! 

She wears hers still too while she is here, and I am so amazed that we have both kept up with them all these years!  Mine has lost its buttons and is much thinner than hers from all the washing mine has gone through.  But I still love it! 

After the sad football game (for most of us :-) we played a rip-roarin' game of quiddler! 

 As the evening went on, a few of us began to slow down a little. 

 and get a little tired. 

So we headed home before midnight and as a few of us got tucked into bed, a few others stayed up for the official ball dropping back at our house.  :-)
