Victoria and Caroline showed their Boer goats over the weekend,
out at the local Big Top Boer Goat Show, in Chehalis, WA.
It was a very special time and show for them,
as a new doe they were blessed with by another amazing Boer goat breeder,
won 1st out of a class of 17 two times (Saturday show and Sunday show with two different judges);
Grand Champion (1st place) Junior doe on Saturday;
Reserve (2nd place) OVERALL on Saturday;
and Reserve (2nd place) Junior doe on Sunday.
This was quite a monumental moment for them and for us,
knowing how hard they have worked to get to this point!
(I think Daddy's allergies were particularly acting up when their doe won Reserve OVERALL. ;-)
Pictures of "Dandi" are the 2 at the bottom.
The sweet lady on the right is Leslie,
the wonderful breeder who worked out a deal with the girls to have Dandi.
Victoria and Caroline have worked a lot for Leslie
fitting and showing her goats for her at other shows,
and in return, she offered this top quality doe to them for a very low price.
It was a win-win situation, and they were all very thrilled!

On Sunday, our church had their annual church picnic,
in the barn on the McGraw's beautiful farm.
It is always a very special time with our brothers and sisters.
Here, my favorite son-in-law is giving a testimony of the many prayers that were answered on his behalf when he went through his cancer treatment.
He did such a great job!
We all love this guy soooo much!
And one of our favorite parts of the day . . .
baptisms in the horse trough!
Congratulations, girls!! ♥
