Oh, it was sooooo wonderful to visit Richie and Lydia early this morning! Lydia was bright eyed, all smiles, and full of energy. She didn't sleep a wink, and she didn't care a bit!: -) She said she felt great and not tired at all. Thank you, Lord.
Richie was still intubated, but they were able to remove the tube a little while later (around 6:30am, I think) He was soooo relieved to have that out!! He was still pretty groggy, but eyes are open and he was even wispering some things after the tube was removed. "God is so good" was one of them! I just love that new son soooooo much! And I am soooo very proud of him!! He is just amazing!
Ted is delivering some yogurt to Lydia currently, so I'm sure I'll have even more of an update soon!
Thank you so much for keeping us updated! Praise the Lord!!! God is so Good!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe are so very happy that everything has gone well. We'll continue to pray that Richie will continue to recover quickly and with no complications.
P.S Keep up the high spirits Lydia! You are such an inspiration to all of us! :-)
Sitting in the Portland airport on a layover from Phx to Boise, it sure is great to read your encouraging reports on Richie's good progress. I'm continuing to pray for him and for Lydia. Give that sweet girl my love.
ReplyDeleteHi Hannah,
ReplyDeleteThank you so very much for your note and for all your love and prayers for Richie and Lydia. You are such an encourager, and we are all so grateful for the blessing of your friendship. Lydia will be so happy to see your notes when she settles in to their normal room with her computer. I know it will be so uplifting and refreshing to her, especially knowing how much you pray!
Thank you, and your entire family!
