Election Day Coverage

On a gloomy day, for more reasons than the weather in Washington:(, we have decided to focus our energies on remaining happy and hopeful! In an uncertain world, we can certainly have peace, knowing that God is still King of kings and Lord of lords, and all that happens to us and our country is within His perfect sovereign purpose and plan!

So, the "coverage" from here on election day is . . . .

We finished our 1000 piece puzzle last night! Wahoo!
(With not a single piece missing! One has been modified by Joseph with the top of it chewed off, but a little coloring with a marker should fix that!)
We'd like to glue it together, because we think that we will probably NEVER do it again!
We have started to think about our Christmas decorating plans.
Timothy and Joseph were sure this should include getting out our "Christmas" train!
They really love it!
Ted has already constructed a train of lights on our fence out front.
We are enjoying it already as it helps cheer us when it is dark at 5pm!!

Now this is a puzzle challenge if I, MELVIN ZWICK, ever saw one.

The puzzle is for me, MELVIN ZWICK, to determine which puzzle piece does not look like it just came out of the box.

After much study of the picture of the finished puzzle I, MELVIN ZWICK, have determined that the Joseph modified piece in the one in the ear of second dog from the right.

Why you ask did I, MELVIN ZWICK, pick that puzzle part. For two reasons. Number one it looks like the piece is totally white and not the color of the ear and secondly the puzzle piece in question is brown just like chocolate.

Knowing Joseph I, MELVIN ZWICK, thinks that he would pick a part to chew on that looks like something Chocolate Loving Momma might eat.

Grandpa loves you more than all the puzzle pieces in the world including those chewed on by kiddos.

  2. Was Daddy there earlier, or did he come to help on the puzzle when it was almost finished??? That would be my strategy. The puzzle is very cute, even with one dog's ear slightly damaged.

Joesph is a very handsome conductor, but does look like a lonely conductor. Kinda reminds me of the Maytag repair man. I am sure the big train set must make for a merrier Christmas.

    Much love, Meemom
