A Few Wedding Photos from My Camera and A Couple Phones :-)

First three pictures were taken at home just before loading up into the van to get to the church by 9am!

Most of my pictures were taken in the Bridal/Bridesmaid dressing room as the girls got ready before the wedding.  (Unfortunately, I wasn't around the guys at all before the wedding. So I wasn't able to get pictures of Taylor and the groomsmen.)
As always, I wish I had taken more pictures and captured all the family and friends that day.  But I always wrestle with how much to be behind the camera, and also wanting to be enjoying the moments without being behind the camera.  :-)  And of course, we had our professional photographer there taking all the great pictures of the day.  Can't wait to see and share those!!!
(Thank you, John Hainline!!!! You are such a blessing as a photographer and friend!)
 Great Meemom with Baby Marilyn!

A few pictures at the reception . . .
Daddy presenting the William Wallace sword to Taylor. . .

 The "Shoe Game" . . . where a bunch of questions are asked of Taylor and Victoria . . . like . . .
"Who is the best driver?"  and "Who got their siblings into more trouble?"  and "Who is the most serious . . .stubborn . . . etc."   Sometimes they agreed and sometimes not!

All tuckered out after a long day of celebrating . . .
From Caroline's phone . . .
 From Evan Smythe's phone . . .

A few Pre-Wedding Pictures

I was so blessed to be able to be the designated travelling babysitter for Marilyn during the bachelorette party.
(Before the Flower Girl and I caught up with the Bride and bridesmaids,
my first duty was to get Marilyn to her 9am well-checkup.)

Lunch at Red Robin after they got their nails done.
The big day is finally here!
Just a few quick pictures from the rehearsal evening . . .

Firsts and Lasts . . .

in this blessed season of life!
Marilyn is approaching 7 months old already and we are enjoying all her "firsts" each day.
She is "talking" now and she has lots to say!  It is soooo adorable!

The quadruplets turned 21 on Sunday!
They have had a few little celebrations together, and we are continuing to celebrate each one with their special meals when we can!
Valerie and Caroline both asked for waffles with strawberry topping for breakfast!
Kyle asked for apple pie for his dessert, which Valerie made for him last night!  I wish I had gotten a picture!  The pie was beautiful!!!  ;-)
On their birthday eve, we took them out for our favorite Chinese food dinner.
Then they had a couple dinners out together . . .one quadie date and one with their awesome new brother, Taylor! :-)  (First three pictures from Caroline's phone were at Applebee's on Monday.)

The next two were taken at Ribeye restaurant on their actual birthday!

And then there are all the "lasts" with Victoria before she marries this Saturday.
The reality of her leaving is becoming more and more before us all.
But I think for the quadruplets, it is a particularly emotional reality.  :-(
They are so bonded, and I think it is something that only multiples can really understand.
They are also just really close siblings and friends, so it is doubly hard.
But at the same time, we are all so happy and excited to be gaining such a wonderful new brother/son.
Taylor is the best, and we are just so thankful for him!!!
