Brielle's Sixth Birthday!!!

Valentine's Day and Brielle's 6th Birthday all is one day!
We had waffles with fruit topping and omelettes for breakfast!

One of Brielle's favorite things right now is fishing!
She actually asked for a new fishing rod for her birthday!
So in this box, she found some fishing lures and weights, and then around the corner was the fishing rod!
Thank you, Meemom and PapaBob.

A Few More Pictures From the Last Few Days!

John and Valerie were able to get out for a little bit on Saturday afternoon and visited the church that they hope to have their wedding and reception at!
Church was cancelled on Sunday because of the snowy roads.
So we had our own church service in our home!
We had a worship team and all!
 Some epic sledding  . . .

We ate well!  This was a cozy, comfort food Sunday dinner!
Sunday was also John and Valerie's one year anniversary from when they first "met" online!

So I made them the cake to help celebrate, and Valerie made John and apple pie!
John had a great idea to play this game that we saw the Dude Perfect guys do once.  You try to get the opposite team to laugh at your corny jokes!  Here John is trying to get Valerie to laugh . . .
And then they played this hilarious game . . .
called "Speak Out"!
And this is John leaving for the airport back to Michigan . . .:-(
These last few pictures go back to over a week ago . . .
Superbowl party at Meemom and PapaBob's . . .

 Brielle's check-up in Seattle . . .
And her wanting this doctor dress-up for her reward after being so good for another blood draw . . .  because she wants to be a doctor or nurse when she grows up!

From One of the Warmest and Driest Winters to the Most Snow Ever!

I definitely think that Michigan and Minnesota are rubbing off on us! :-)
Ted thinks that this is the most snow we've received in the 15 years we have lived here!
We woke up to many more inches of snow on top of the many that we had already received in the past several days!  And our power went out for 18 hours from trees falling down and limbs breaking from the heavy snow all over the place!

John rescheduled his Monday night flight out of Seattle to Tuesday afternoon out of Portland!
They had to use Valerie's 4WD to get out of our driveway and at the end of the driveway, even had to dig their way out!
Brielle took the photo below! :-)
